Pavisa Plastics was created in the early 1970's as a joint venture between Wheaton Industries, USA and Grupo Pavisa, Mexico. In the mid 1990's Grupo Pavisa purchased Wheaton's shares in the joint venture. In 2007, Rexam and Pavisa entered into a joint venture and in 2008 Rexam acquired all the shares of the joint venture.

Since 2005, Rexam and Wheaton Industries have co-developed plastic containers and closures which are marketed exclusively by Wheaton.

Through its two divisions (Latino Americana de Vidrio and Nouvel Studio), Grupo Pavisa designs, manufactures and sells glass packaging and crystal glassware products.

Pavisa's glass container division is a leading manufacturer of high value added specialty glass containers. Its history includes a joint venture partnership with Wheaton.

Pavisa's glass tableware division designs and produces innovative crystal glass products.

Since 2005, Rexam and Wheaton Industries have co-developed molded glass containers which are marketed exclusively by Wheaton.

Wheaton Industries has a Strategic Partnership relationship with Linuo Glasswork Company, a subsidiary of Linuo Group Co., Ltd.

Linuo Group Co., Ltd has 41 domestic subsidiaries, 2 overseas R & D centers, 3 companies and 9 offices abroad. It is ISO9002 registered and has been approved by the PRC's National Science and Technology Committee as a hi-tech enterprise. Linuo Glasswork Company produces borosilicate glass tubing for solar heat collectors and has a greater than 70% market share in China. Linuo Glasswork Company also produces pharmaceutical glass tubes, ampoules and vials with a market share exceeding 40% for these products in China.
